I'm finally updating! Hahahaha! I know it has been a long waittttt.... ^^
Bb sent me to the airport and we had breakfast over at budget terminal. Yummy mac breakfast as always.. ^^

This trip to Philippines was not as smooth sailing as we thought. There was turbulence upon arriving into the Philippines zone and there were storm clouds everywhere. And the cab queue at the airport was so long one could have spent an hour just waiting for their turn.

But the hotel made us felt better, or at least something we could comfort ourselves with. Located at Manila Bay, our room has the sea view, or rather, just a quarter of the sea view. ☺ The room was cozy and well equipped with everything that we might have needed during our stay. The beds were so comfortable that made us want to stay in bed all day long without having to step out to face the horrendous weather.

We went to Mall of Asia and it was HUGE! I think its twice or thrice the size of Vivo city, so guys if you think Vivo city is huge and you might get lost, wait till you’ve seen this one. ☺ They even have an ice skating ring right in the middle of the mall, and best of all, they have a lot of nice food here. They have Jollibee, which we don’t have it in Singapore, Krispy Kreme too! And loads of small little push carts selling food.. I’m a happy girl when I get to eat and eat.

Buffet breakfast at the Spiral was great! They have cuisines ranging from Japanese to Western, Chinese to Philippines over 50 varieties of food at least. I think in order to have a great day ahead you must have a great breakfast to begin with. ☺

Exhibition was boring when there’s no one at the booth to enquire about anything, but it beats having people swarming around and start bombarding you with questions isn’t it? So, I’d rather sit around and do nothing rather than answering ridiculous or non-related questions. But time pass by very slowly indeed. And after work, we decided to head back hotel for some pampering sessions.. :)

And 3rd day here in Manila, the weather is super crazy I must say. One moment it can be bright and sunny, the other moment it can be raining cats and dogs. No wait, not only raining, its more like storms. I’m kind of homesick already. I can’t wait for Sunday to come. After the exhibition, supposedly, we’re supposed to go for dinner with the organizers, but the traffic was so bad so we have to settle it ourselves. We went to this place where it was like a market place and you can get cheap seafood and have to bring it to a restaurant yourself. The moment we stepped into the place, the people are swarming around us and promoting their stall and seafood to you. The touting is very bad, but at least they don’t hard sell their products and demand a high price. The hospitality is just overwhelmed I should say. ☺ And the people here are very friendly and nice. We had baby lobsters, king prawns, scallops, vegetables and lala. The style of cooking is great. And we met this guy (girl to be?) who is so funny, that keeps us entertained throughout our hearty dinner. ^^ And as it was raining while we’re heading back, he sheltered us with his umbrella and walked us out to the main road for a cab. Would you get this kind of hospitality here in Singapore? Hahaha.. Back to hotel for Transfomers!

4th day, exhibition is still rather quiet compared to the first day. I can’t wait to go home tomorrow! But bad news is the bad weather and there might be cyclone? It came out on the news, I just hoped that the weather is okay when we’re heading back, I don’t wish to experience turbulence again. It’s so scary. Prays hard. And please let me go home pleaseeeee…. ☹ At the end of the day, we packed up early because we sold all our magazines and headed back to hotel first before heading out for dinner with our organizers. Upon reaching the hotel, we went to check out the casino and I got asked for my age, Fiona was rather disappointed at the thought that the security didn’t ask her. Hahaha. The casino was rather quiet and there were not much people playing. Oh well, it was rather boring. :P

After that, Bogee came to fetch us and we went to the market place we went the night before for seafood again. This time round, more choices and more food! We’re so happy at the thought of having fresh and good seafood at such cheap prices. ^^ And after which, we bid goodbye-s and headed back to hotel to enjoy our last night at Manila. ☺ Snuggled up in our cozy beds and we watched movies on HBO till we slept.

Woke up to a beautiful morning when the sun is up and the skies are all clear and blue. Its such a good morning to wake up to, and the thought of heading to the pool just woke us up. And the thought of not having to experience turbulence during our way back is gooooddddd….

After breakfast, went out for a little soak in the sun and explored the lagoon which we couldn’t do so for the past few days due to the storms.

After exploring, we went to Greenhills, which Fiona has been telling me about it ever since we board the plane. Its like their weekend bazaar place where you can haggle the prices with the vendors. ^^ The journey there was about 40minutes and along the way, I understand the term, “Poverty”. It might not be the worst country which suffers from poverty, but from the looks of it, you’ll understand how lucky we’re to be living in Singapore. Ok, moving on…

The bazaar place was not bad I should say, but for clothes wise, its kind of expensive compared to Chatchuchak ( though I’ve never been there yet, but from experiences from friends..) ☺ but the shoes are cheap though! I think I bought around 4pairs of shoes and 2 slippers back for my family and myself. Haha. And some food stuffs and some random things here and there.. Due to time constraint, we can’t shop for long. I don’t think we covered the entire market..

Hahhaa.. headed back to hotel to do last minute packing and headed off to airport. ^^
