CNY goodies!

As mentioned over the previous post yesterday, I'll post pictures of the MOST-HAVE CNY goodies on my list.. ^^ Here goes.... (They're not positioned in terms of ranking.. Heh!)

First up, HOME MADE PINEAPPLE TARTS!
I've lived for 20 years of my life and I've not eaten another pineapple tart that is comparable to the ones that my grandma made. ^^ I love the crust more than the pineapple though.. :P

Secondly, LIM CHEE GUAN BA KWA!
This is so sinful, but yet its a most have for every CNY. 香味 and 美珍香 is totally out of the question. I'm very picky against ba kwa. I hate THICK slices. Oh! The one at the people's park market place is good also! ^^ Chinatown always have chinese goodies! Just like for Lantern Festival, they'll have 大中国 mooncake. ^^

Thirdly, KUEH BANGKIT (dunno is it spelled liddat)
Not so picky about this one, but I totally love the ones that my big auntie made! Its so nice that I actually wanted to ask mum to ask for another bottle this year. But she said that it requires alot of work and my aunt sells them for like 2obucks for one small bottle?! *GASP* And every year she only made this to sell, you can imagine how nice is it le ba? Hahaha....

Fourthly, GIO GIO KI KI ( our homemade recipe goodies, you can't find it elsewhere!)
Its actually made of eggs and flour, but I don't know how it tastes so delicious and you can get hooked on it. Without realising it, half of the container is gone. My aunt gave us like 3 big containers of gio gio ki ki and now, its only left with 1 and a half lor.. CNY haven't even start yet!

Lastly, HOME MADE BUTTER COOKIES ..
Also a home made recipe from aunts and grandma.. I think it tastes like normal butter cookies, just that you have a homely feel when you're eating it... Hahaha!

And guess what people, I've already made up my mind on getting a DSLR! ^^ I'm so excited. I'm gonna proposed to idea to my queen and king to chip in some money for it. Treat it as my birthday gift! Wahahahahaha!

Till then,
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
